The harness of an AI company

Agents need a frame to stand on.

Rules, company memory, checks, a decision log and permissions. Without them an agent guesses, and nobody can tell why it did what it did. Six questions show which parts of your frame exist today.

Which parts of your harness exist?

Tell us where your rules, knowledge, approvals and data live today. The part each question is about lights up, and the frame fills in as you answer.

  • RulesNot answered

The limits, approval levels and policies an agent must follow. Without them an agent guesses.

  • Company memoryNot answered

What the company knows: documents, past cases, who is who and why things were decided. Agents work from it, with a source for every fact.

  • ChecksNot answered

What is checked on every case before a decision: documents, limits, the counterparty. An agent runs them the same way every time and names the source.

  • Decision logNot answered

Who decided, when, on what grounds and from which sources. It is how a person checks an agent, and how an agent earns more rights.

  • PermissionsNot answered

Who, and which agent, may read, advise, draft, record or execute. In a pilot agents get only the first three.

How we work

Agents and desks come last. First the company’s own knowledge is collected, cleaned and checked by its people.

  1. CollectEmail, chats, documents, spreadsheets and systems, each piece with its origin.
  2. CleanDuplicates merged, conflicts and out-of-date facts flagged for a person.
  3. Verify with peopleFacilitation sessions where your people confirm, correct and set priorities.
  4. Map and MegabrainOne model of how the company runs, which desks and agents then work from.
Then desks and agents, built on what your people confirmedOur approach in full

What you get

  • FrameYour harness, part by partRules, company memory, checks, decision log and permissions: what is in place, what is partly there, what is missing.
  • StepsA first step for each gapEach missing part started on one process, not as a company-wide programme.
  • MapThe Company MapProcesses, roles, rules and decisions in one model, each with its source. The memory agents work from.
  • DeskA first desk to build on itWhich process the frame should hold first, and what a pilot on it would include.

How it goes

Nothing is installed for this

The check is conversations and a few documents. Nothing touches your systems. How we handle data

  1. Send your harness with the requestIt shows which parts exist and which are missing. Change anything before you send it.
  2. A conversation for each partWith the people who own the rules, the data and the approvals. We ask how it works on an ordinary day.
  3. A few real documentsA policy, a checklist, an approval trail. Names and amounts can be hidden first.
  4. We fill in the frameEach part with what exists, what is missing and who owns it, on one process first.
  5. We walk you through itYou correct what we got wrong. The result is yours to keep, whether or not you go on to a pilot.

Which part of your frame is missing?

Send your harness with the request. We reply within one working day and agree who joins the first conversation.

Questions people ask

What is a harness for AI agents?

The frame agents work inside: written rules, a company memory with sources, checks run on every case, a log of who decided what and why, and permissions that set what each agent may do. Without it an agent guesses, and nobody can check what it did.

Do we need all five parts before a pilot?

No. A pilot needs them for one process only. We start the missing parts on that process and widen them one process at a time.

Is this the same as a knowledge base?

A knowledge base is one part of it, the company memory. The harness also holds the rules agents follow, the checks they run, the rights they have and the record of every decision.

Where does the harness live?

In your environment or ours, as agreed. It connects to the systems you already use, such as accounting, CRM, email and document storage; nothing is replaced.

Who owns the rules in it?

Your people. Each rule has an owner and a version, and an agent follows the version the owner confirmed.

How exact is the result on this page?

It is built from six answers by simple rules. It shows where to look first, not a verdict. We check it in the first conversation.
